Vintage Coro Axe Brooch with gold tone metal, blue, green, and red rhinestones. A rare, signed piece from the 1950s.
Color Rhinestone Axe Brooch with a base of Long Gold Tone Metal. It is adorned with jewel-tone crystals in green, blue, red, and clear. Fancy stone shapes include oval, marquise, baguette, and traditional round. This brooch looks like a smaller scale version of what might be made during the Renaissance Era for the royal knight! The back of this pin is signed Coro (in script), along with REG PAT APP, to indicate a design patent was applied for. Probably made in the early 1950s, this piece is in good vintage condition for its age with no major damage. All stones are present with mild wear from age. The metal just looks vintage with mild weathering. Fully functioning rollover clasp.
