Vintage 1960's Girl's Black Velvet Skirt With Handmade Multi Colored Embroidery Made In Switzerland Size 4.
From a large collection of vintage girl's clothing. This skirt is from a trip to Switzerland in 1966. It is in remarkable condition. There is a tiny spot with some repair at the hemline in the back. Please see the last photo.

At widest point: 24"
Waist: 8 1/2" with approx. 1" space to widen by moving the button.
There is 1 1/2" of embroidery and red bric or brac decoration. Multi colored thread in an intricate pattern that goes all the way around the skirt.
At the waistband the skirt is gathered. This skirt is one of a kind and truly timeless. Please see the photos to complete the description.
