Vintage working "eyeball" or globe-style color wheel for your mid-century modern aluminum Christmas tree. Likely manufactured by PenetRay or On-A-Lite in the 1950s-1960s. This light includes a built-in music box that plays "Jingle Bells" when the light is on (activated by a switch on the side). The globe rests in a plastic cup for adjustable illumination. The removable aluminum color wheel is 12" in diameter and shows dents and wear consistent with age. The color comes from cellophane inserts in the color wheel frame. The spotlight has been replaced with a 65-watt equivalent LED bulb to minimize heat. Both light and motor are in good working condition.
